"Improv Everywhere" in Manhattan Home Depot
"Improv Everywhere" organizes 250 people to shop at Home Depot, in slow motion. They shopped for 5 minutes, then shopped normally for 5 minutes, then
froze in place for 5 minutes. I think this is hillarious. http://consumerist.com/consumer/impr...pot-196630.php I might not think so if I was there on the third trip required to complete a plumbing project.:) How would you react if you encountered something like this. |
I really like this sequence of events, though right now I am enraptured by another event they made happen, a living 'Moebius'.
It is great! :D |
The Moebius Strip and the Best Buy infiltration were equally brilliant.
The Home Depot worked best when they froze. I love this sort of thing. |
They do stuff like this all the time - a bunch of them organized a few months ago in Union Square and filled up the windows a Filene's Basement - each person "striking a pose". If you were just walking down the street and had no idea what was going on...

When they all froze in place, i nearly died laughing. pure gold.

Boy, I miss the slow paced life back in NYC.
