I would like to apologize to Sisman, even though I deleted my response before I posted it. I thought it was a stupid question, but now Apple has released Safari for Windows.
So Sisman, how'd you know it was coming?

I wonder if the speed hacks available for Firefox or IE on Windows can make the apps comparable in speed to the new Safari. A was talking to a friend of mine last night who said he didn't really see a difference. |

I don't understand why Apple would CARE about Safari's market share. I never understood the browser wars to begin with. For sure, when IE was locked into Windows, Microsoft wanted IE to become the predominant browser, because you had to buy Windows to get it. But.. what does it earn Apple to have Safari go from 5% to even say 15% market share? I just don't get it!
But I'm a Firefox boy. I switched to a mac a few months ago and I've literally used Safari like twice. |
