For me if it's from the S-O's past it's from the past. I like hearing about things and enjoying the life that she's had so it doesn't really bother me. After all I've had a life too and it's nice to be able to share things openly. I think if it's something that's going to bother you then don't ask about it and make it clear you'd prefer not to hear about it. *shrug* I guess that works as long as it's an item that's from her past past and not her past since she's been with me.
