Get a Lian-Li case. They are the absolute best. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I may replace my current Lian-Li with this one. The case is a bit pricey, and it doesn't come with a power supply, but you'll have plenty of cash to get a good PSU.

How much hard drive space will you need?
I prefer AMD, and I'll never buy Intel. I just upgraded and got a Gigabyte mobo, and I couldn't be more pleased with it, and if you plan on gaming on it get an ATI 9800 PRO or XT. I love my PRO. The card just kicks ass. Make sure you get some dual channel RAM. Kingston's HyperX series is awesome. I have a gig of it.
