I know a few people in the military, and I think some of the comments previously posted are correct, that being, not all are nice and polite wonderful people.
That being said, one of my favorite people is a guy I was introduced to by my wife, a jewish guy in his 30's who is in the air guard and about the nicest guy I think I've ever met. his wife is great too btw, I think you get out what you put in, and he was taught most of his mannerisms before joining the military.
