One of my closest friends dad was in the Marines. He is one of the smartest/funniest guys I know. My best friend is in the Coast Guard, he is pretty awesome also.
One of the reasons I have been wanting to join the Coast guard is most of the people I know who did a stint in the military turn out pretty neat. I'm hoping the same would happen to me.
