Two brother-in-laws, both loosers imo (Can't hold jobs outside of the military, multiple affairs, etc.)
Two "chosen" sons -- has helped them grow up and figure out what they want out of life.
I think it is all what you decide you are going to get out of it. You can only be "taught" good citizenship, honor, etc. if you are open to learning it.
