I prefer a slightly modified German Potato salad.
Dice bacon and brown it. Reserve some of the fat and add cider vinegar, onion, celery, and sugar. Mix in boiled red potatos cut in a large dice. Just before serving add a touch of Miracle Whip to smooth it out.
I can not tell you amounts becuase I do it by feel and taste.
