It does hurt, but not all that much.
And if you're really, really stressed at the thought of the pain, the whole area can be numbed with topical anaesthetic.
You might have to go to a different city (local authority regs vary in the uk) to use pain numbing type stuffs, but the option is there.
I know you can get anaesthitis in nottingham. I know you can't in liverpool.
If the pain is the only thing that bothers you... Man...
