I like my 7.5l V8. Mileage is less than perfect, but it makes life so much easier when you have a tendency to hook onto heavy objects (occasionally even ones with wheels under them) with the intent to move them.
Of course, there are some nice inline 6 engines out there...For instance A 14 liter Cummins running 600 horsepower and a little over 2,000 foot pounds of torque. Unfortunately, I can't fit that into an F-350.
