I didn't mean to say that dubbed anime isn't good. Just that to me, something is always "lost in the translation."
Example of this is in Neon Genesis Evangelion. In the japanese version i cared about Shinji and thought that everything going on with his personal life was sad. However, in the english version i thought he was "whiney" and i ended up not really liking him very much.
But that is just my opinion
