another good salmon recipe
i made this up tonight and it was absolutely delicious.
1 salmon fillet (the size doesn't really matter...i used 1.5 lbs)
1/2 cup white wine
juice of 1/2 lemon
olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 tsp dry tarragon
1 tsp dry marjoram
salt
pepper
onion & lemon slices
preheat the oven to 375
mix the wine and lemon juice. pour in olive oil enough to make a total of 3/4 cup marinade. mince or press the garlic into it, mix in the herbs, salt and pepper. Put the salmon in a baking dish, and pour the marinade over it. Put the lemon slices and onion slices ontop of the fish, and bake for a half hour. Once it is done, serve it with the onion slices, but discard the lemon (it gets bitter.)
You can do virtually anything to the marinade - fool around and come up with your own flavors!
