That's weird...I've had the same thing happen, but with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It would begin extracting the needed files, and then right before installation would start, it would simply disappear. It fixed after I formatted.
Sorry for not being able to help, but I just wanted to say that it's happened on different programs too.
