I never beat Majora's Mask, but I remember hearing something about it taking place in another Zelda dimension apart from the rest. I wonder if the other games are the same way?

Best I can figure is that the MM quest goes on while you are in the Temple of Light for seven years then emerge a full grown Hyrulian. Point for this, you already have you Occarina, Master Sword, and Hyrulian Shield.
