Hmmm...the whole thing smells to high heaven, and the big loser in all of it is going to be the dog. The original owner doesn't have the tags on the dog. The dog isn't found, after no less than three visits to the HS, by the owner. And, after all of this, why won't the family that adopted the dog just relinquish it to the original owner. They hadn't even taken possesion of the dog before all of the brewhahha started. Nah...something's just not right here. My spider sense is tingling.
