i rather dislike cats (i try to take to my mates gfs cat with a cleaver every time i go over *jokingly*) but if they will let me pat them they are alright.
anywhoo from what i was reading, getting your cat declawed would be a bit inhumane, but thats just my opinion. the soft paws and clipping her nails and the like are the way to go IMO. i would suggest getting your cat spayed aswell as when
they are on heat all hell breaks loose.
if all that fails... get a dog
