Dm'ed a campaign in which a player's kender thief had severly pissed off a guard patroll- and in the ensuing fight had decided to fire at the leader of the guard with his hoopak- realizing he had no ammo left he performed the infamous "pocket grab" (wherein a kender could grab for a random item that they had unknowingly stolen earlier) and came up with a mouse- undaunted, he loaded and fired the mouse at the guard- I stated that he had to roll a 20 to hit- which he did- and then a 20 to do ANY damage- which he did- and then, roll the d-20 once more to see how severe the hit was- he rolled yet another 20- at that point I decided that he had killed the leader of the patrol- how did not matter- i just could not ignore the power of those dice rolls.....
