i didn't say i have a problem with change, persay. i just don't like the idea of this added "extra" that's suppose to benefit our lives. it's just like palm pilots and cell phones that snap pictures. how is that actually beneficial to humanity besides having a cool technological toy with the latest features? there is no point except trying to come up with the next latest thing that's going to overdo the other. each one constantly pushing to be better. these added features are worthless to me though. i don't need the biggest dvd player with all these add-on features like mp3/cd/cd-r/etc for example. i just want to be able to see the movie! is that too much (or too simple) to ask? the problem i have with this is that we live in a "cool" generation where these things are accepted because of how cool they are. we don't stop to think that they serve no purpose other than it being "cool".
