last year, i worked for an on-site computer consulting company, so if my math is correct, it was 2002. we were in the middle of a server swap and one of the employees at the client's site approaches me.
him...'what are you doing?'
me...'we're upgrading the server you guys have here.'
him...'upgrading huh? so will it be faster?'
me...'yeah, it'll be lots faster than your old one'
him...*trying to sound smart* 'what operation *yes, he said operation* system is in it?
me...'oh, it will have windows 2000 server edition on there'
him...'windows 2000!, is that for Y2K?'
it took soo much to keep from laughin at him. if we were installing something to fix the Y2K bug in 2002, 2 years later, don't you think the problem would have been apparent? i love when the employees at the clients place try to talk technical with me. just awesome.
