I mean, he had a freaking huge year this year which is likely going to culminate in a national championship. Coming back just invites more of a chance for his knees to get blown out again. He is never going to be a first round draft choice, and really should be happy to get picked in by the third.

I disagree - I think it is probably the wisest move he could have made. As a Sooner fan I'm glad to see him return - next year should be great if he can stay healthy. I don't really feel that Jason has a real future in pro ball. I have a feeling he'll be around for a long time as a coach somewhere - perhaps even at Norman in some capacity. With his past medical history I really doubt that the pros are all that interested in him. He runs the chance of blowing a knee every time he walks on the field - or perhaps anytime he walks period - the other injuries had nothing at all to do with contact - he's more protected under college rules than he would be in the pros.
