BigBlue... ACC down this year? ACC is back this year. With the exception of UNC, all of the ACC teams in the top 10 deserve to be there (but then I've heavily biased against UNC so take my comments with a grain of salt).
The ACC has been excellent out of conference with only a couple of exceptions (Clemson, Duke's loss to Purdue, and State's loss to Michigan). The ACC should have a dominating presence in the NCAA tourney this year.
As far as GT being overrated... perhaps we don't quite belong in the top 5 just yet but I have a lot of confidence in this team. Hewitt is one of the best coaches in the country and he has them believing. The best part about this team is that when one player has a down night, someone else on the team is ready to step it up. Expect this team to do some serious damage in the ACC and in the NCAA tournament. The lack of size will definitely be a factor for them against some teams (luck was definitely on our side against UConn) but overall this team is very dangerous and very well motivated and focuses. Next big games are at UGA and at UNC (first acc game).
GT is prime for a let down but they have stayed consistent thus far, they will lose some close games during the ACC season but don't be surprised when you see this team in the Sweet 16 come spring.
