Anyhow, I am somewhat of a Bonneville nut and we at BC.com are very excited about the new GXP lineup esp. the GXP Bonneville. Pontiac has taken the 4.6L Northstar from the Cadillac lineup (SLS in particular) and dropped it into a partially redesigned 2000+ body design.
Gone is the 3800 SC (L67 engine) putting out 240HP and 280 TQ at the crank. The SSEi will no longer exist after the 2003 model year. The SE and SLE trim levels maintain the 205 HP 3800 (L36 Normally aspirated engine)
Also the trademark foglamps of the SSEi (directly beside the front plates) is phased out.
Sadly for Bonneville fans in Canada....it will no longer exist after the 2005 model year.
oh..I had an 89 Bonneville SE (cream puff car..lol) and now drive a 96 Olds Aurora with a 4.0 Northstar.
