since Dreggan and Matt had already positioned themselves on one side of the canyon, Vanelee decided he would join the young mage on the other. Doing so, he took his position behind an outcropping of rocks and readied and arrow.
The elf had known that Nina was powerful, and that this journey would undoubtedly make her powers grow. However, her power was growing exponentially. Even Vanelee, who knows the true power of elf blood, could not have fathomed she would have this power.
