I like the older metallica instrumentals too, but I also like the '60s surfer rock as well. I was pleasantly surprised when I bought Gary Hoey's album called "Bug Alley". At the end of it, not listed on the label, is Hoey's rendition of "wipeout". It's pretty cool.
