If Michigan beats Ohio State, I'll argue for USC to play in the big game instead of LSU for the same reason.
I just don't like it when Kansas State plays noone yet is rewarded year after year. If you look at KSU in the polls, they are a top twenty team. But they have lost three and have played noone. I don't like rewarding teams that schedule weakly over those who have played tougher opponents. I'd never rank KSU above other three loss programs like Iowa, etc.

Let me pose this question. What the heck is USC supposed to do about their schedule? Last year USC had the toughest schedule in the country while Ohio State had the 42nd strongest. In 2001, USC had the 20th toughest and Ohio State had the 38th. Those schedules are with many of the same teams as this year. I disagree with the drawing of a parallel with Kansas State, who I agree schedule pansies WAYYYY too much, but that is not the case with USC.
