And USC could help the fact that they played Arizona? Just like Ohio State could help that they played Indiana and Northwestern? They are conference games they play every year, they're unavoidable. OSU is lucky they don't have to play Illinois this year.
Let's look at the non-conference schedules. For OSU, it was Washington, San Diego State, North Carolina State, and Bowling Green. For USC, it was Auburn, Hawaii, BYU, and Notre Dame. They're fairly comparable. OSU is soooo lucky too that Bowling Green is ranked this year.
No matter how we dissect this, it just is more evidence that we NEED a friggin playoff system, NOW.
