I've never had a personal experience with sleepwalking, but my mother, when she was a girl was an avid fan. On one occasion her grandmother (who was living with the family) found my mother outside in nothing but her nightgown. When granny question my then adolescent mother as to what she was doing, she answered, "I was picking you flowers grandma." The funny part is that it was January and there was over a foot of snow on the ground. Neither the cold nor the wet woke up me mam, standing barefoot in the drift.
