Nice article, Macheath. I think its quite right too. Australian's are by nature fair and good people, so what we're seeing now is blatant ignorance as opposed to outright malevolence. The Middle Class has been brainwashed by tabloid television and the tricky words of the professional pollies.

Hmm...perhaps a letter campaign to sitting Liberal and Labor MPs challenging them to back up their rhetoric and to spend time in a detention centre would reap rewards...
