'Finally' Nina thought, turning to watch the King's arrival. 'Now we can get down to business.'
The King entered and all the warriors stopped their drunken revelry and stood at attention. He was accompanied by two pages, 5 guards, and what Nina presumed to be the Queen. They were all dressed to impress, as if trying to stress the importance of the gathering. The King's rich red cloak, well-manicured beard, and golden crown gleaming with jewels stood in sharp contrast to the shabby garb of the warriors assembled there. Nina caught Dreggan nearly drooling over the wealth before him and smirked thinking what a lark it would be for him to rob the very King he had come to serve. The King moved to the head of the royal table and lifted the goblet there.
"Welcome to my home, noble warriors! You have been called from near and far to serve the worthiest of purposes. Now, if I have your attention, let me describe to you the dangerous task at hand..."
