Startled at the sudden attention, the girl jumped up, hitting her head on the table, causing several goblets of wine to spill and a grumble to eminate from several disgruntled guests.
She dropped back down, rubbing her head, and did not protest when the young, gentle-looking elf guided her out from under the table to the bench between himself and the young man who had spoken to her.
The elf warrior's warm green eyes soothed her fear momentarily and she accepted the food they offered her ravenously. She began shoveling handfuls of the delicious meats into her mouth and it was only when she came up for air that she realized that both of her hosts were eyeing her curiously. She blushed bright red with embarassment at her lack of manners and stared down at her ransacked plate.
Suddenly, she realized how vulnerable she was out in the open, having drawn so much attention to herself and her eyes darted around anxiously. She began to slip silently back under the table, but was held in place by the young men on either side of her.
'Oh hell,' she thought, 'how can I get out of this one?'
