I accidently did something similar to my wife. I dropped a bottle of hot sauce (we're talking skull and crossbones type) and the bottle broke. I cleaned it up and washed my hands. Not thinking about it we started fooling around in bed later. That ended real quick after I started fingering her a little. She was sore for like 3 days.
Needless to say I am very careful with hot sauce now.
