I took my old sound card out and uninstalled the drivers quite a while ago

Nah I don't have an HP comp, it's a Gateway comp. And I have 320 RAM (128, 128, 64).

I'm probably just gonna get a new Mobo. I've been itching to upgrade my comp for a while and the mobo is probably the problem (since my burner only wants to work after it's been unplugged for a few days).
