I've never had a drink in order to change my personality before a date, but I have done it before sitting down to write. Sometimes it helps me get started easier, but I'm a little leery of doing it often. I don't want to convince myself that I write better with alcohol, and thus that I need alcohol to write. I can definitely see some danger for you here. If she thinks that your normal personality is the way you act when buzzed, you'll have to be buzzed most of the time you're around her. Obviously not a good idea.
