Casting reduce on the Captain of the Guards helmet, making it too small for his head. Then escaping because the helmet was cutting into his head and causing lots of pain and anguish.
My party and I were running, yes running, from a very mad mage we had just stolen a prized possession from. He was on a horse, we were on foot. We had some distance on him, turned around and started combat. 2 of the party who could do something got the same initiative roll. The mage cast sleep on horse, while the ranger got a critical with his bow. The DM ruled the horse who now collapsed from sleep, catapulted the mage straight into the arrow. We were all pretty impressed by that one.
