Kobe did not play last night. Kobe needs to figure out that the Lakers can win without him. I don't think they can win without Shaq.... and yes he can be a slob. he does show up to training camp fat and out of shape.
The Laker problem last year was lack of adult leadership. Shaq is a great maybe the greatest around but a leader he is not.
Hopefully Karl Malone and Gary Payton will add leadership to the mix.
