Kill Bill

Here's my warning if you haven't seen it yet: this film is extremely gory, and NOT for the squeamish.

It's fun gore, though. Done cartoonishly, and with a lot of humor. The violence actually gets SO over-the-top that it's hysterical. lurkette and I ended up lauging right out loud during most of the fight scenes later in the movie.

Like most Tarantino films, you spend the first half our figuring out what the hell is going on, the middle half hour piecing things together, and the last half hour enjoying the ride.

There's so much that's just plain WRONG in this film. From the Pussy Wagon to Gogo the Insane Japanese Schoolgirl.... It's a visual adventure and good, high-adrenaline fun from start to stop.

I give it 9 blood-spurting neck-stumps out of 10.
