If your going for a sports car, get a RWD or AWD. If you want to mitigate the safety issue between RWD and FWD buy a RWD car with traction control, or electronic stability control, or vehicle dynamic control. I have this on my car (350z) and it prevents all fishtailing, overstear, and BS that ocurs on wet pavement.
