i've had wireless mice from microsoft before and unfortunately they didn't work that great. normal usage, ie web browsing and regular point and click works ok, but for gaming, it doesn't work at all. i've called ms tech support on this, and they admit that there are problems with the mice and keyboards with gaming, especially very active first person shooters (quake, doom, counter-strike). they tend to glitch badly.
if however it is bluetooth, it might be way better. but i've heard no problems with logitech wireless products. even though i despise them, i must admit, they have the upper hand in the wireless arena.
but i must say, that new mouse is very nice looking, let us know how it works out.
