At ten dollars a flick, I don't usually take risks when it comes to movies. Quadrette and I go to movies that we're already pretty sure we'll like. If it's a movie I don't want to see, she goes with her friends, and vice versa, and neither of us are offended.
A few years ago, she dragged me to see The Astronaut's Wife with Charlize Theron and Johnny Depp. It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in the theater. That was four years ago and I still haven't let her live it down.
So if it doesn't really match our mutual tastes, we don't go together.
