mine seems to use about 25megs of ram.
there are ipod sync options. when the ipod is plugged in, an icon for it appears in the lower right corner (have to have the ipod selected under source) - there you can choose how to sync. i think itunes works much better with the ipod than ephpod.
it does take quite a while to let it sift through your library, but once it does, the playlist capabilities are winampX1000. i've used it to do a lot of tag editing and it seems fairly powerful for that.
the player itself is sluggish
i'm going to use it for two reasons: works great with the pod and excellent song organization
