i ok i have never brought a single on cd, but i do have some 7" 12" singles on vinyl and here are the ones i thought worthy to mention
AC/DC - if you want blood you got it (high to hell)
the beatles - while my guitar gently weeps (ob-la-di, ob-la-da)
silverchair - tuna in the brine (across the night)
