Don't tell them. Insist your wife is "letting herself go". When she gives birth, act really surprised.

Actually I will be the one doing all the 'letting go' hehe! But I could just tell them the belly dancing is building more muscles then I know what to do with! (Just started lessons...hehe)

If you are still in the "thinking" phase, aren't the holidays a little early? I thought there was a 3-month "silence" period, so you don't have to answer uncomfortable questions if there are gestational problems. OTOH, if you aren't drinking during the holidays, the cat may be out of the bag...

That is something I didn't think about...but if there might be problems...I would want them to know anyways because I will always need their support during good or bad...I'm a Mama's girl! Plus we don't drink at the family brunch so they wouldn't notice...

Start baking cakes and pies. Begin dropping hints to your relatives that you are trying to perfect your recipes, and ask for help. Then, at Christmas, you can tell them all you have to leave the room and go check on the bun in the oven.

I love this one!! That just sounds like something I could pull off easily as I do need practice!
Another thing we thought about was getting them cards like sapiens said, and putting them on the tree and making them all open them at once....and see who gets it first with the video camera going!
It's that or getting them all shirts, World's best 'Nana, Papa, Aunt, and uncle...then having the girls names and b-days in a heart each..then one extra with something pinned on with just the due date or something.
I know that all this planning might be premature to some and I am not trying to test fate here and jinx myself to not get preggers...But I am one of those people who have to plan things out...and yes the closer we get to holidays the more I am thinking it might have to wait a bit...but we get together all the time, so finding a day won't be hard!
Thanks again for the replys....and please feel free to keep posting and share your own stories!
(and thanks to whomever moved this for me!!)
