I think its tough to hold Israel to a higher standard. After an attack they go in to round up militants, and seriously the IDF gets ambushed from all sides because they are in enemy territory; thats all fair and good because they are regulars and not civilians. It becomes a problem when you have Palestinian civilians hurling rocks and shooting at them, are you seriously going to ask them to not return fire? I am glad to hear that Israel is finally policing within their ranks, no excuse for murder like that.
