Laws are an attempt to affect human behavior externally.
"Morals" represent the attempt to do something similar by an appeal to some over-riding "moral principle."
Laws are pragmatic.
Morals are idealistic.
Personally, I understand laws and I affirm them
Morals make no sense to me at all.
