I think it's a safe bet to say that it's not coming out on the 30th, games hardly ever come out on their projected release dates, especially ones as big as this.

I read an article at GameSpot that said Valve were releasing benchmarking tools to the media on the 30th, I doubt the games release would be on the same day.

At work (EB) our computers have a date pencilled in of the 1st of December.
