Pentium 5 Announced!
Well it's happening once again....intel is releasing a new version of the pentium processor that we have all come to know and love. The new Tejas core is going to be released late 2004 at speeds of 5Ghz and FSB of 1.2Ghz and L2 cache of 1MB.....not only that but right now intel is releasing the prescot which will bring us to speeds over 4Ghz, and will soon be released with 1Ghz bus speeds.......this will once again put intel in a commanding lead of processor manufacturers. The Itanium 3 (intel's 64-bit processor) now comes with upto 16Mb of cache which is more than any other processor on the market today. AMD, Motorola, and Sun, will be scrambling to keeps up with the leaps and bounds of intels latest developments.
