We had a discussion on this in another thread, and I made the comment that the game isn't out yet, and neither are the drivers that WILL be made to fix all of this. Check out Tom's Doom 3 benchmarks. ATI gets owned really bad and NVIDIA dominates. Both companies will release drivers that work well with both games before they are released, I guarantee it.
