I'd be interested. I used to ride a Yamaha XT-500 off road, and found having only one powered and narrow wheel to be very limiting when the ground gets soft.
I did like having all that low RPM power for the express reason that I could take on a hill at lower speeds than gys with smaller .cc and have an easier time dodging trees on the way up with plenty of tourque left over. Traction is always the problem it seems.
The only things I can see where a 4 wheeler ATV might have advantages would be in river crossings for starters. Having to maintain balance in a current might be more difficult than on a quad.
Also load capabilities. I see that it can carry lots of poundage, but can it be easily strapped on as a quad, or balanced ?
I'd love to take one of these for a spin with my quadding friend and see where it takes me. See if we could loose each other.
Also LOVE the idea of using common parts and standards so they can be repaired by the DIY guys. And looks don't matter to me, plus I kinda loke the look.
Honda is making something that looks a bit like this but more urban now. Some might call it ugly too.
