oberon has a good point there. Anyway the paradox is that non-conformity becomes mainstream as neddy65 pointed out. Maybe we should drop all labels and just do what we think and want for ourselves. Although that statement might be non-conformist so you never win....
As long as your doing something (be it dress, music, movies and so on) if your doing it for your own interest/beliefs and not any other agendas such as social status, acceptance, image/labels and so on then you're definatly getting out of the label of superficiality and frivilousness (sheep) which is a good thing. Thinking for yourself.
Wether its unique or conformist or not, who gives a fuck. Get over yourself and you know where you are with so what does it matter for anything else....
