Well, actually 60 lbs is a rounded number. I'm just under 6'1 and did weigh about 375. I'm donw to 318 as of yesterday when I weighed before working out. I've been around the 320 range for a couple of months and that is pretty much where I have been for 10 years (since high school). I'm naturally a very large person, I started wearing my dad's clothes when I was in the 5th grade and weighed about 250 then.
As far as my eating, I don't take in a lot of calories (considering my weight), but I think it's what I eat. I've always been very picky. I can;t eat most vegetables becuase I gag and I don't eat red meat becuase I just don;t like the taste. I eat a lot of chicken and turkey (and too much pizza and doritos). I've pretty much cut out pop (except for every once in awhile when I CRAVE a Coke) and I quit alcohol last winter.
I've stepped up my workouts recently from just 4 days a week to 5 or more with the same intensity. I weight train just 2 days a week and do atleast 30 minutes cardio (stationary bike or treadmill) 3 times a week. Then, I either golf or play basketball over the weekend.
I've always been active, I played 3 sports through high school and then played football and tennis in college (I can't imagine what guys thought when they walked out onto the court with me at 320 lbs. It was probably even worse when I beat them.) SO even though I'm huge I'm not really as out of shape as I look.
I'm just trying to get over this hump in my weight loss, I'd love to get under 300 lbs.
Thanks again on any help you can give.
